• Hi! I'm Yvonne. Yuen

I am a marketing strategist specializing in impactful storytelling that helps businesses grow.

My passion is simple and compelling creative:

Words that sway, imagery that wows, and stories that stay with you.

Discover the ease and results of working with an experienced professional. I am a marketing strategist offering marketing, website design, and creative services to businesses in Cape May and beyond.

Empower your business with the creative strategy and content that sets your brand apart. Whether it's a one-time consultation or weekly services that you need, your business will receive the attention that it deserves.

    Web Design

Your website is your 24/7 representative. You wouldn't hire a representative who wasn't polished, up-to-date, friendly and informative; why should your website be anything less? Whether you already have a website that needs a refresh or are starting from square one, I can build you a stylish, intuitive, mobile-optimized site that you can update easily (or I can update for you!).

Stellar creative that resonates with your audience is key, but content that differentiates you from your competitors is the grail. Let me help you elevate your brand and create the stories that connects you with your target audience. And if you haven't started e-mail marketing yet, it's worth investing in more than social media. Work with me and never worry about your marketing again.

  • "Yvonne is a consummate professional and literally my website design therapist. She confidently held my hand and helped me see what my website would need to make it stand out. I trusted her vision completely and I was right to do so. Yvonne's design eye is right on the mark: Her photography, choice of fonts and color palette, writing style & layout are professional, inviting and unique to each website she creates. And, she worked tirelessly to get my website up and running. This is the second site she has built for my businesses and I am so happy to have found her. "

Julie Featherman, owner and founder of Red Letter Day Lifestyle (Philadelphia, PA)

Yvonne has been like a guardian angel for our website! We asked Yvonne for help and she exceeded expectations! With hardly any direction or guidance, Yvonne was able to capture the essence of who we are and what we do. We were blown away by her ability to use design, photos, and words to share our mission, expand our reach, and better serve our guests.

As we've grown and evolved, Yvonne has been there for us. When we've needed things in a rush a photo for a magazine on a tight publishing timeline, an unexpected change in our hours or menu Yvonne has always been prompt to respond and deliver. Time and time again, she has shown us reliability, skill, dedication and grace.

What we most value about working with Yvonne is a feeling of trust. Our business is so important to us, it's not often that we feel comfortable handing the reins over to someone else. Yvonne made this an effortless and obvious transition by consistently showing up with talent and heart. She has our back, and she cares for our business as if it were her own. Yvonne's attention to our website has allowed us more time to concentrate on what we are most passionate about - food and hospitality. We are so grateful to have Yvonne on our team!

Connor Dore and Heather Sedlacek, owners of Summer Salt Restaurant (Avalon, NJ)

"Yvonne was able to zero in on the essence of our business in a way that not even we were able to figure out; she showcased all the elements that matter to us, with exquisite pictures, and made the whole process a breeze. She is flexible and she takes every single project to which she commits as if it were the most important thing on her work desk. Yvonne has a remarkable sensibility that makes her graphic designing unique and extraordinarily attuned to the product she is featuring. We are so happy we got to work with her and we are looking forward to more endeavors!"

Tom & Celia Matthews, owners of Matthews Seafood Restaurant and Market (Cape May Court House, NJ)

"Yvonne is a pleasure to work with, filled with ideas and inspiration to make my marketing emails customer friendly and informative. Yvonne is able to offer a different perspective on how the information is received and presented, such things I wouldn’t have even thought of. Her emails have improved traffic and sales on my website and at my store.

Yvonne was also able to reorganize my Shopify website, creating a layout that was eye pleasing and full of interest, sections that organized the items I have for sale, and in the end helping me make it more user friendly with a look that reflects what I am doing at my store. I look forward to continue working with Yvonne. It is money well spent and an investment I am glad I made."

Bekki Rich, owner of Wayward Gardener (Stone Harbor, NJ)

"It's rare you come across someone who is passionate about her job & extremely talented at it... but Yvonne is that and so much more. I've had the pleasure of working with her for four years now at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and am continually impressed by her initiative, kindness & drive. It is a genuine pleasure to work with her and I am beyond excited to see what project she spearheads next!"

Kiersten Dunn, Public Relations Director at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts

"Our website needed an overhaul after 12 years, thankfully Yvonne came along, highly recommended by a friend, and worked her magic! She presented advice and ideas I would never have thought of and came out to take photos and tour our site, she really made our business shine. We now have a beautiful website and a wonderful new friend!"

Dena Olivieri Corrado, owner of Abbie Holmes Estate (Cape May County, NJ)

"Thank you to Yvonne Yuen for putting our site together. She captured what we've created at The Hugh brilliantly. We are beyond pleased."

Sandra and John Vizzone, owners of The Hugh Inn and Jardin at the Hugh (Cape May, NJ)

"Yvonne's passion for travel and social media found the perfect home at Four Seasons, and her creative mind and keen design sensibilities led to countless innovative social media activations throughout her years on the team. Her Instagram expertise was particularly invaluable, and several of her initiatives on this channel were recognized in industry publications. Her efforts over the years contributed greatly to Four Seasons' industry-leading and award-winning social media presence."

    About Me

From nationwide tourism programs in Canada and Ireland to global campaigns for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, brand identity and marketing has always been my specialty. And having traveled to more than fifty countries and lived in five, one might say that travel and hospitality is in my DNA.

My photography has been featured in Travel+Leisure, and I've contributed to online travel guides by National Geographic and AFAR Media. My writing has also appeared in print publications Fricote | L'Épicurien Urbain (a French culinary magazine) and Columbus Travel (a Dutch travel magazine).

I've been writing in a professional capacity for more than a decade. I'm an accredited web designer and project manager with experience in projects ranging from app launches to global gift card campaigns to promoting Michelin restaurants.

I’m creative. I treat every single project I'm committed to as if it were the most important thing on my desk (client's words!). I’m fuelled by excellence.

But enough about me. What’s your story, and what's the story you want to tell?

    What is Caesura?

Noun: a pause, a break, a disruption in the flow of sound.

In verse and musical notation, caesura is signified by // or what we in the digital world know as the double slash, seen in every url.

Caesura Communications is a Cape May-based creative content service specializing in hospitality and lifestyle marketing. I like to think of Caesura Communications as causing a disruption in the way marketing is done in South Jersey.
